Any tips for vehicle financing post Ch. 7 discharge?

My husband and I were discharged from our Ch. 7 in August. Last week I had an accident in our van (hit a bobcat construction vehicle, at the fault of a county animal control officer!) and it is totaled. We have received a zillion offers in the mail from car dealerships for post bk financing.
I just wanted to see if anyone had any tips or warnings on financing. We will get cash from our insurance company, but not enough to cover another mini-van, even used. So we will be able to put some money down. I'm feeling a bit rushed w/this and don't want to make any bad decisions. We are a family of 5 and our other vehicle is a small car which makes it difficult for us all to use.
    Thanks!

You might try the Capital One Blank Check Program.

You should be able to secure financing, but first you want to narrow down the car, or the dollar amt(preferably both) you want to spend. Once you have that in mind, you can look(cap one is one good example) or through a dealer themselves. Have you established any credit post discharge?
