Sending refund check to trustee/hopefully case will close soon!

Minny, every time I look at your posts and read the date that you're still open...I go "oh my god"....

so...I'm sending the refund check to the trustee w/copies of my IRS bill, beggin to get that refund of $2,900 applied to my possible tax bill of $7K...

do I need to sign the refund check? I was thinking not because then if my mail gets lost, anyone can cash it?

Trustee has the power to sign refund check for you and guess what, trustee has to pay IRS before he can pay anyone else...... IRS has priority over everyone............... sorry about the trustees luck............

Absolutely be sure to include a copy of the IRS bill that you owe.......... and a little note for the Trustee about it......

Yeah, when I see how long my case has been open I go "IS THERE NO END TO THIS????".........

Have a good one, and hopefully your case will close soon....

        Minny...

...what I have to send them in re to this IRS bill is a "Proposed 2004 Tax increase"

        CP2000 is the "Notice"...1040/2004

I'm just sending copies of the whole notice...

Have a cover letter for the trustee indicating the need to pay IRS!

Good, glad I don't have to john hancock this check...wish it was mine to keep

I couldn't believe that when I was re-reading my exemptions yesterday that our tax refund is actually exempt. (Although, I don't have one.)

Please let it be so...doesn't seem like they want the 4runner as it has not been mentioned at all since my 341 and discharge...(they don't want to sit & wonder if they drive it, will it start or blow a tire either... ....

I'm going to send it certified return receipt tomorrow or Monday...I'd like the satisfaction of at least knowing that he had to sign for that beautiful check!

I'm getting out my "Cooking with the Dead" cookbook and will be trying some of those tasty recipes to put good food in the body & tires on the SUV.....started reading it this weekend...quite an interesting book with pictures of deadheads back from the '90's before Jerry died...the food was always good at the shows...miss that, so I'll have to try it myself
