    Just A Few Questions

I have been reading the forum thoroughly and have the NOLO book that's in the sticky but I still have a few questions if someone don't mind answering.

    I am filing PRO SE:
    No assets
    No property
    I rent an apt.
I have NO JOB NO WAGES in over a year
I have more debt than I can take on right now.

My question is, I receive public assistance and from what I have read many times over I DONT HAVE TO PUT THAT DOWN ON THE SCHEDULES correct? So if I don't put it down in the income schedules what do I put $0 and when I list bills etc. electric, phone, rent I will be at a net NEGATIVE amount correct?

Time to find a job, buddy. You can get rid of your debts, but you won't have any credit when you're done. That means you have to live only on public assistance. I'm gonna guess that it doesn't quite cover what you currently spend.

Life is about to become hard as heck for you. Good luck with that job hunt.

Just ignore Fedler. He's an A Hole.

My guess is you list your public assistance as income at the start. Then it gets subtracted out later as "Exempt Income".

I know that's what our attny is doing with my Mother's SSI. She lives with us and we claim her as a dependent on our taxes. She spends all her SSI on medical co-insurance, Plan D drug insurance, meds, and doctor's visits. So she does not contribute in any way to the Household expenses. And because her SSI is Exempt from being considered as "earned" income in BK, the attny is gonna show Mom's SSI to start and deduct it back out later.

Even though you are filing pro se, it wouldn't hurt to have a free consultation with a few BK attorneys.
