Just a couple of things to add.
Sounds like you have only seen one lawyer--go have more free consultations. When making an appointment, ask if they have a lot of experience with BKs and impending divorce.
Don't think of quitting college. But if you need to take a break, take the semester off (don't want to ruin your whole GPA by one bad semester.) College will always be there.
