    Unemployment = Income?

    Filing chapter13. Spouse is collecting unemployment, but it doesn't last forever and jobs are not plentiful/easy to find in this economy.

    In searching the various posts in this forum, I will presume that unemployment benefits cannot be exempted as income, or at least no one has been successful YET.

    Is my presumption accurate?

    You must list all income. Unemployment, SS, insurance proceeds, and pensions, cannot be levied on (except IRS) but must be listed. 'Hub
