    news. Another weekend fire sale and public gets screwed

    Hey, this is no tout board. For the record, the stock is trading UP1.26 to 21.65, a gain of 6% from yesterday's close.

        i was watching CIT symbol I dont trade I just watching the financial markets cause I want to know whats happening and financial companies have huge bearings on bankrupcy laws. Sorry if you took offense

                Heck I think I am wrong CIT is Just plain Ol Cit Group I am in the wrong but the none the less they had to get extra help today

                  Well, it just so happens that CIT, a multi-billion dollar financial group, derives billions of dollars in support from Citigroup. While these are different companies, one's finances are intimately connnected to the other. Keep in mind that Bear Stearn's financial issues were not necessarily issues of the investment bank, but derived from those it had investment dealings with. CitiGroup could turn out to be no different. One click of a domino..
