Howdy friends, stayed two lovely days in Lake Placid Florida with friends. We stayed at Melville Deweys old house, it was a getaway/thinktank for many world leaders in the early part of the 20th century, even Churchill was here.
I have several hundred 35's but I picked one digital to post for now, this is not a great photo but I think it defines the mood of the place best.
Across the water is a trimmed looking area, those are orange groves.
I did not shrink the pic because it seemed to destroy the mood, so rather than load it here I just linked to it.
