just wondering why birthdays are required? as well as how confidential this forum is ?

The birthday field is required to acknowledge that you are at least the age of 18 and understand the forum's rules and regulations..... We do not want kids playing on the forum..... Also, our members take the time to "wish you a Happy Birthday" - when that special day rolls around.

Our forum is a pretty secure forum.... No one mentions names, often does not disclose what part of the country they are in, and information is shared freely with other members.

Often if another member needs a referrel, it is done thru IM and not directly on the forum....

We sometimes suggest firms that might be of help in buying a vehicle, getting a new mortgage etc after filing bankruptcy.

I have been with this forum since 2004 and have found it to be a very secure forum when it comes to sharing information.

Most members do not disclose their names, locations, or firms they might be associated with...... thus not giving out personal information that could pinpoint who they are and where they might live. Personal information and IP addressess are available to staff members only who must abide by strict guidelines.

We stick mostly to sharing bankruptcy information to help someone who is considering filing bankruptcy, has filed, or is finishing up the entire process.

We are a support-information forum. Your conversations are secure and your private information (known only to staff) is secure also....
