    Kitty needs knee surgery

Essentially, he's atleast torn a ligament. We moved last Tuesday and we suspect he probably tried to jump up or down off of a box and missed a step.

So...my fabulously dear boyfriend is going to help me pay for his surgery to get it done soon. I start a new job in about 3 weeks and kitty really cannot wait. He's limping too much. It just breaks my heart to see him. Not to mention he also deals with asthma.

I have another cat too. Last year when I moved, THAT cat got into trouble. Eesh.. I think what I need to do is include vet emergency bills in my moving expenses when I move.

They bring me such joy and amusement. I love my kitties! I'll post when he goes into surgery. Right now we're trying to get the details. Fortunately the board certified veterinary surgical center is very close to where I live and is, literally, a 2 minute drive.

Being an animal lover also you hate to see any animal suffer.... they have pains just like we do...... all the same ailments, sprains, broken bones, etc....
Many have asthma and even panic attacks.

My beagle has panic attacks when a storm comes up. Lightning struck and tree right next to her and run the fence line...... SCARED her almost to death.... So now when thunder rolls - she panics..... cries, hides, etc.....

Be good to that boyfriend that is willing to help with the vet bill.......thats great of him....

You might try giving your cat a baby aspirin to help with his pain. My dogs take them for their arthritis.

Keep us posted as to its progress....

Thanks, Minny! Yes, you so understand.

I cherish my boyfriend all the time. I am so lucky and fortunate to be with him.

I just picked up some anti-inflammatory for my cat from his vet. Which will help with his pain. I see the surgeon for the initial consult on Friday. I got a quote today from the vet and the cost is not prohibitive. I'll be able to manage it.

I feel so fortunate that I can take care of things like this.
