Thanks to all that participated in this poll, our new President has been elected. And based on the results of this poll a large majority of the people expected/wanted to a Democrat to win.

Regardless of whether or not we supported Obama, if he is the next president he will need our prayers for his safety and prayers for wisdom to guide the country.

(Keep in mind until the Electoral College votes he's not really President Elect, but assuming no faithless electors he will be......)

This feels really weird. I didn't want him to win but I am also glad John Mcain is going home. I never felt like this with an election.

Seriously I do feel bad for you Obama supporters who really think and believe what I said earlier.

Four years ago I felt the same way you do now and did a 180, 2 years ago once I saw just what Bush was all about.

Exactly, that's why America keeps sliding down the pit. The D and R are playing a game. They use pretty much the same points year after year, promising the same thing in different words but generally never fulfilling their promises. They primarily concentrate on short sighted promises to garner political gain to get reelected rather than long term action needed to save the country in their actual work regardless of the rhetoric they use.

At least convey some truth/fact when you post. lol Like McCain's $5k Health Insurance credit is going to mean something. Do you know how many people are uninsured, or underinsured in this country? A lot of them are members of this BK Forum! If you want to see our membership base grow, then vote for McCain!!

Neither of them will get their Health Care plans passed. There simply isn't the money to do it. Bill Clinton ran on Health Care and tax breaks for the middle income workers. We didn't get the Health Care and we got a tax increase for the middle class, yet many fondly remember him as a great president.
