    Whatever happened..........

.....in Walmart"s bid to open their own banks inside the stores. FDIC/govt. ever approve their quest?
Eight Walmart stores here in the Sacramento, CA area, each of them only have various Credit Unions "branches".

Here in the Philly metro area they have opened Beneficial savings and loans in most branches. I would bet that this local Philly bank would be pretty mad if they got the boot now. I heard the wanted to oust all the mcDonalds inside locally for some odd reason. THAT would really make my kids mad. They like to drink milkshakes while shopping......ick.

That's the way ours is a Super Walmart...............

Walmart's, a book store, hair salon, post office, bank, eye doctor and eye glasses place, Photography store, and a McD's.....

SOOOO............. if your hungry, head for Walmart, if you want your hair and nails done - Walmart..... need a book, postage stamp or a check cashed/mailed - go to Walmart. Need your picture took for family album - Walmart is the place.... Also, groceries, meds, clothing, shoes, household supplies, toys, craft items, baby stuff, bakery goods, deli meats, produce, in-season decorations, yard goods, mowers, flowers, sports/fitness equipment, etc. Have I left anything out, folks??????? Oh yeah - buy a bird, fish, etc plus supplies....and food for them.

Only thing they don't do is sell cars, but I heard that wanted to add that too in some of the Super Stores...... you can already buy tires, oil changes, etc though..... so why not sell cars too?

I hate our Super Store...........too big, too crowded, and never have what I want......... (lots of subsitutes though).... and those "self checkouts" - How I hate those!!!!!! Nothing wants to scan, you have to fight with it....... and if not careful you'll pay for it 2 or 3 times.....

"one stop shopping" would be great if they put a bench in here and there for the old folks to sit down on when they get "wore out" from walking around.

At least they do have two bathrooms - one in the front of the store and one in the back of the store...... (guess that's so employees don't take too long going to and from the bathroom, huh!!)...........

I can't see that their prices are much better, only good thing about it - YOU DON'T HAVE TO KEEP GETTING IN A OUT OF A CAR ALL DAY LONG - to do your shopping........

You can shop - eat lunch - and finish your shopping.........

What more could you ask for except may an afternoon nap!!!!
