When Salesmen try to sell you HARD...

...oh my god ROTFLMAO!!!!!

I just took a call this morning from a "manufacturing" company that is now in my office giving my manager the hardest sell on their goods that I've seen in AGES!!!

First, they came in saying how they smelled mold/mildew outside of our office...now for any of you that know me...I have "too" much experience with mold (i.e. my sons had to leave the state of FL due to the black mold in the house my xhusband & I built)...so I had to RUN OUT OF MY OFFICE before I burst my pants.....if there was any mold outside my office, you know I would know...plus they came in saying how they could "smell" the mold...well, mistake #1, you can't smell it...it's the mildew you can smell...so you know I'm not believing anything else that has transpired in the last 25 minutes....

Next, they tried to assimilate tastes/hobbies with my boss....and they brought out the catalogs & started making notes faster than a 9th grader on their first day of high school...

Again, I had to run out & they wouldn't even move over to let me pass out of my office, I had to lunge over a fed express delivery....

And, my boss is playing them up...oh my god....HELP ME BEFORE I SCREAM!!!!!

The best way to deal with these types of folks is simply dismiss them. To sit there for 25 minutes listening to a sales pitch is just wasting your time and theirs. It really doesn't accomplish much.
