Agree with you, yes and no. I never brought up religion. I put out a quote by the leader of another Country with more gonads than what we have here to offer our Country, the most mighty and kind Country in this world.

Some of the other quotes were made by Australian government officials in July 2005 after the London Tube bombings. This created a Muslim fear frenzy in Australia because of the large number of muslims living in country. The letter is a fabricated hybrid chain letter. Always check the source when this stuff is distributed on the internet.

You may want to double check all that because he most definately did say these things as it was all over the headlines & news everywhere & made it very clear that they will integrate or leave. Howard also made it clear that he is not going to apologise for it. It was not just a chain letter of nothingness, while they may not be direct quotes, the jest of what happened is there. There was a whole lot more to it than what has already been quoted & it was directed toward the radicals of that religion & was hardly all fabricated.

The Prime Minister also expressed concern about Muslim attitudes to women.

I truly did not intend to offend anyone of any race, religion, creed, etc, etc. But I have a question, I really believe we are in this country being very unfair to Japanese, and Koreans, as well as some Hollanders. If they want to go to Lowes for an electrical part, I only see the isles in English and Spanish. This offends me that in our Country, we have to label our signs for ONE and only ONE other language. It is my belief that if I were to go to Bavaria, I would not wish anyone there to put up signs for me in English so that I do not have to learn German. This offends me very much as my Dad fought for our rights to be free and American. If I choose to live in Mexico, I would expect to learn Spanish. If I wanted to live in Brazil, I would have to learn Portuguese.

LOL! so if I go to Spain should I learn spanish? or should I expect the whole country to learn to speak my native language of where I cam from, english?

There will always be arguments everywhere one travels, that is a human condition as everyone has different opinions & it would sure be boring if everyone actually agreed on everything like robots.

I think spanish was just being used as an example there because you also find french & german written on everything at wally world & quite often the employees & managers don't seem to know a lick of english when you need something. I could not even get anyone to understand in English that I was in search for a needle & thread without buying a whole sewing machine the last time I was there. ONe girl was real nice though & knew right where the kite string was & I needed that for my sky lanterns.
