SB is overrated. I Thought that when they first came in & still feel that way now that they are going out. I went to one SB while passing some time & never went back to another one.

I drank a good pot of coffee a day. all different kinds & flavors for a few years & then something happened a year ago that makes me violently ill when i drink coffee & stopped all together.

My husband says that too...he never liked them either.....

We have 2 new Shells and both have sinks right beside the coffee pots. LOL Anyway, now you can bet I'll be thinking this whenever I get my next gas station coffee.

I went to do my Saturday ritual of getting my 7-11 coffee and taking my dogs to the local Veterans Park and l LOOKED for the sink...thank goodness they had another sink besides the bathroom sink to wash the coffee pots!!!! I had to look.....

In Massachusetts we are plauged with Dunkin Donuts at every corner or strip mall, since this is the state that it was created in. Starbucks are pretty far and few here.

I've been to starbucks 2x's. Both times I tried their coffee and HATED it. Tim Hortons has my favorite coffee!!!

I have been a SB fan but lately I have to admit that Peets has a better flavor and price for the same thing I usually get at SB's. And when you order a peets small mocha it has 2 shots of expresso but at SB's it has 1. Also it is so much quieter and civil than most of the SB's in my area which usually have lines going out the front doors. Peets usually has clasical music playing and seems to be less hectic.

I lived in Europe for 10 years and that is where I started drinking coffee at. American coffee can't compare IMO.

If I didn't get my java fill at either SB's or Coffee Bean, I would have it at home. I would never buy coffee where I get my gas at or at a fast food place.

As for me, I live on a budget designed by my wife so I drink coffee at home but a good cigar never escapes me on Saturday nights and that is DEFINITELY in the budget.
