My wife and I are in the process of filing for Chp 13. After we retained a lawyer we found out that if we wanted to have a child, we need to do so in the next year or so due to medical reasons. Has anyone had success remodifying their plan after they began their payment schedule due to pregnancy?

Really depends on how close to the baby's arrival your wife goes on pregnancy leave, and if she intends to go back to work or not. Once she's on unpaid leave and intends not to return to work, your family's income will take a major hit, and unless the trustee is a heartless/creditor friendly bum I am quite certain that he/she will remodify your established payment schedule.

Hi there,
Look up a poster by the name of "NowImDownInIt", she recently filed (ch 13 I believe) and found out she's expecting and is going to have to modify her ch 13 payments.
