It seems like lately the new posts are being removed much faster. Does anyone know if there's a specific amount of time the stay?

Everytime I visit here, the first thing I do is click on the new posts heading at the top of the page. It shows me any post that has been posted since the last time I visited, even if it has been a week. Before I figured this out, I was going into each individual area of the forum to find the new posts. If you haven't already tried this, please try it. It is a great time saver.Chapter 13 filed -8/12/04

I believe the clock is reset every time you click the "new posts" link, even if you don't read everything in the "new posts" queue on your visit.Originally posted by chloe0724 View PostIt seems like lately the new posts are being removed much faster. That has been my experience too. Never timed it though. If any posts disappear that I wanted to read due to my clicking habits, I just jump to Today's posts and find them.Originally posted by WorkingItOut View PostI believe the clock is reset every time you click the "new posts" link, even if you don't read everything in the "new posts" queue on your visit.

I have no idea. It seems to last about an hour or so once you click on "new posts". If you don't come to the site for a few days though, the new posts will just keep accumulating. There's probably a cut off for that too, but I don't know what it is.Originally posted by chloe0724 View PostHow long does the clock last?Filed Ch. 7 (no asset): 12/30/2008
