Edit feature duration?

I just noticed the edit feature is different for postings. IT is shorter I believe.

What is the window now for editing for spelling and mistakes?

Exact one minute sir!... After that window, it will show up time & date for your pleasure. Neat!

One minute?, is hardly an asset and does not even allow enough time for someone to answer the door, blow their nose or take a sip of tea...

At least15 minutes would be a bit more fair and reliable.

I suppose there will be allllot more errrrors, misdakes and miszpelllingz, now that the edit feature is baysiclee non---existent!

Edit has definitely been way shortened up in the last few weeks. I seldom make a post without finding a mispelled word or misplaced phrase, so with such a short edit function before a post becomes "fixed in time", it takes me forever to try and say what I meant the first time.

So, if I spread misinformation and inaccurate data here, just blame it on the edit time. Maybe I should just start making only safe posts, like "I'm wishing you the best of luck there, Joe", and forget about the posting of useful information.

LOL! Nope, you're not going crazy. I do believe our Admin. has made some changes to the forum and it's look. With regards to the edit feature and time, we will let the Admin. know if there is an issue.

There have been times that I have been logged in the past two weeks where the 'Edit' button hasn't been available at all.

Yes. I also noticed there are times when it does not exist at all.

That is not enough time. Why bother even having it for one stupid minute.

May as well just automatically log people off their accounts while they are trying to post after a couple of minutes, if it takes more than two minutes to type a post.

Also, I notice how come in the early morning hours, some strange "porn" posters keep apear on here... and ALL moderators are sound asleep until noon time!??..

So, we truly need a volunteer mod who can be awake all INTO the night to watch & kick azz those bastards... as soon as they post... since my eyes are hurt when reading

You can stay up all night long on the graveyard shift and make sure no one puts up obscene posts
