Thanks for understanding. Most people don't realize how important shoes can be. When it comes to shoes, you get what you paid for. Cheap shoes don't last as long as the nicer ones, therefore you are saving money by purchasing nice shoes. Plus, the gas savings from needed to go to the store to continue to purchase cheap shoes as opposed to having nice quality shoes already at home. Ok, maybe you all think I am nuts, but I have been using this reasoning with my husband for years.

    Have a wonderful Thanksgiving everyone.

I am leaving in a couple hours for a 5 hour drive to the in-laws in South Dakota. Please tell me that this year will be different than previous years. Your right, it won't be, I will make it through. We are opting to stay at the brother in laws house because my husband's aunt, who lives next door to his mother, drives my husband nuts with her constant criticisms. Then I have to listen to him being all wound up. ARRGH! We are also leaving Friday to come home rather than spending the whole weekend out there. I do get along with my MIL which some people find strange. We will be fine, Phewww sorry, I must have needed a little rant prior to the trip. Thanks for listening.

Everyone stay safe and wear your fat pants to dinner so your not uncomfortable.

the shoe reference made me laugh! trying to make some money selling a lovely pair of hardly used gucci shoes! next time around, either i can pay cash or I'm not buying them. thanks for the chuckles, though.

Hmmmm....nobody says they're thankful for "wealth"

I feel wealthy, if not financially.... ;)

            My family
            My pets
            My job
            My health
My optimism...as I've always been more of a pessimist. But that is a 'work in progress.'
