The train is a fun way to travel. I know when I used to work in DC I would take the metro all the time.

I haven't used the trolley system here yet.

The average prices for regular unleaded is now $3.93 in my area...filling up the tank brings tears to my eyes! But I do know that our prices are still cheaper than many other areas too!

Commuter trains will become ever more popular in the future. My dad & I (senior citizens) can take a train for 130 miles one way for $5.25, & you get there faster than in a car. IF you buy certain passes where you would use it every day, there is no hybrid that will ever do what a train can do.

I am not sure what they mean by undesriables, because wouldn't those undesirables be on the train and not in their town? Hundreds of thousands of people who make great money commute by train & subway every day because it is a way better system than sitting in traffic honking at those same undesirables who pass through any way, & paying huge parking premiums. They still own nice cars but the car stays at home instead of beating it every day in rush hour traffic.

They do and are great cars at 26-28 mpg, its just that with stop go driving of most of NJ and my current PT work nothing gets good milage. I had better milage before the ethinol.
After I payoff the car I can quit the newspaper route. As soon as my stimulus check comes, Whoo hoo! Then ALL my debt is erased. Not just hospital bills and credit cards, but the car too.
    The Camry Hybrid is excellent.
From what I get the Prius will be great for my hubby as he does mostly highway driving for his PT job. I think thats the way the hybrids work.
