    2. Click on the name.

    3. On the next page, you will see an option to ignore the user.

    4. You will have to confirm your choice.

      why

I personally didn't see anything wrong with your post............... It was lightening's digs (he should be called grave digger or shovel).
Life is to short to hold grudges. I wouldn't choose to ignore anyone on this forum, besides you will miss out on all the fun.
We all know he is full of hot even, (hey, I have an idea, he could supply all his hot air for hot air ballons, he could start a franchise - Lightening's Hot Air Ballons Rides - All Natural - Straight from my lungs to your balloon. Would be cost effective, and the BEST THING is while blowing out all that hot air, he couldn't wite on this forum, or talk!!!!!!!!!!)
I'll be watching, you may never know when or how, but I'll be there. I am there now....

Well, just make sure to quote the poster fully, then I can, but in full thought, I think it better to simply ignore...I'm sure he'll be thrilled, but then again, if he digs at me, he's wasting his time

Here's the deal....two wrongs dont make a right! I won't let members create any sort of "How To" thread about another member, especially one that gives instructions on how to ignore them, et cetera... The tone of the thread was out of line, hence it was deleted.

What if the thread was targeted towards you?

Well Todd, I admit it probably was "Out of line" and I have not a single problem with the deletion. However, that's my only defense to such people as I see fit.

Personally, if one is to come here and post, it should be for questions, answers and maybe some advice. Sneering, making fun of people and generally being a pita, is NOT the reason for many of these forums.

Genenco - No offense, but you are just as bad as he is. Half the time you are the one that starts stuff with lightening. You come across like a bratty 3 year old.

"No offense, but" are 3 words which I have never understood. I mean that they literally confound me. I have learned over time that usually when there is a "but" that you can pretty well ignore the words before it, but I simply don't understand "No offense, but"
I'm not taking anyone's side here, but if you're going criticize someone, why be concerned with their feelings. It seems to me that if you really wnat to not "offend" someone, that you shouldn't say it, or at least send it in a PM and not list it for everyone to read.
And why are we afraid to offend someone? If I think that someone is really off base, I usually just ignore it. If it's aimed at me, I will respond...sometimes even with an apology.
Writing in cyber-space is difficult sometimes, because we write in a kind of shorthand and you don't hear inflections or see body language.
When I read, "no offence meant" or something similar, I prepare myself for a sucker punch.
Hey, if you want to criticize someone, go ahead. It's a free country and we have free speech.
What Todd is trying to do is to prevent "triangulation", where you choose sides. He is doing wise to do this.
So Whatsamada and anyone else who begins a post with "No offence, but" ...I am offended by this! Art

lol...I just found a post where I said "no offence meant, but"...I know that sometimes I offend myself, but I didn't think that I usually put it in black and white.

I confess that I am a "no offense, but" sinner"
Confession over, but still laughing at myself. Art

Todd, please leave this one here. I'd like to show that I can "Take it" as well as previously "dishing it out"
