    Florida News...Craziness as usual

Just a little Florida update, we've got the cheerleaders in a Tampa club bathroom supposedly engaging in questionable acts getting more interest than Jennifer Porter, a young woman who hit four children last year, killed two of them after leaving the scene of the accident and not coming forward for five days after (enough time for drugs/alcohol to dissapate?) and finally, getting 2 years house arrest, the Carli B. molestation/death here in Sarasota which is supposed to be televised on Court TV...do ya think it's the heat that makes this a crazy state or what?

I'm sure there's more Florida weird news but these are the top stories this week.

The horror of the little girl was being buried alive. Why is this animal still alive? We know he did it, there is no question. Add to that Bill Kamal, for many years our top meteorologist, looking for a father-son relationship, "not just great sex". Two cheerleaders in a bathroom? To be honest I've been under a rock, I only heard about it the other day.

I know other places have problems. What disturbs me most is the lack of outrage. Some of these people should swing from a rope before the week ends.

        Personally,
I feel that most of these abusers of children should be given to JQ public for "disposal"!!
Everybody says their "sick"........ Yeah - SURE!!!
They pick on children because another adult would probably kill them.....
I don't think its my responsibility to feed and cloth them in prison while they wait to get out because the prisons are too full!!!
Most of them get an education that many of us could never have at my expense!!!

There's a lot "wrong" in our society now and things don't seem to be improving a whole lot these days.

... and our New World Order State can sieze a good, honest citizens property for private corporations now thanks to this Supreme Court!!!!!!!

It sounds to me more and more like Judges should join Attorneys at the bottom of the list, right below feral livestock. What a living embarrassment to our Country these judges are.

Reminds me when I moved to Iowa. Had a double murder happen close to town I was living in and shoot-out with killers which killed them and a deputy. Poeple would say "Oh! Isin't this terrible?"

I'd usually shrug, say "yeah" and that usually was it. One person said "How can you be so callous?" I replied "Honey, I came from a city where a 12 year old killed five by burning their apt"

They left me alone after that

Minny, I agree, but we also need to start looking at our teenagers also. Fourteen and fifteen year olds are having affairs with their teachers. We are completely blaming the teachers, when, in a lot of cases, both parties should be looked at. These kids no darn well what they are doing, and how they are doing it.They should hold some responsibility for their actions, also.

                Tinroofrusted,
                You are absolutely RIGHT!!!
Right now a 6 year old will tell you "You can't talk to me like that - I'm a person".
Spank you child and can possibly face abusive charges!!
Yes a lot of these teenagers know what their doing - they also know the law won't touch them and there's no consequences to their actions. Parental control is NO MORE!! Kids now tell their parents what to do. I see it every day in the neighborhood.
Kids in the neighborhood love me, but sure don't want me babysitting them, lol. They know they have to behave at my house, or pay the consequences.
Their parents are amazed that I can "snap my finger" and THEIR KIDS ACTUALLY MIND ME!!
Its amazing when a child "knows" you mean what you say!! Their behavior is entirely different.
I'm easy going and love kids - but no 8 year old is going to tell me to "kiss his A***" and get away with it. Especially if he is under my care.
I never lay a hand on them - GET THEM OTHER WAYS.....
and it definitely works for me....
One 8 year old looked at a hallway wall for over 2 hours because of his mouth....... When he told his parents they just laughed.
No abuse - just a strong firm hand, and reminding them who the adult is and who the child is....and THEY ARE GOING TO CONFORM!!!

Our society needs to take a good look at itself before it's too late.
Manners have gone out the window, and rudeness has replaced it.
Give of yourself to others has turned into take what you can!
Love thy neighbor has turned into "who gives a crap about the neighbor"!
And the "laws of the land" - have turned into a joke!!!

Yes, our country is headed in a bad direction. It won't be many more years before our nation is like others overseas. Killings, bombings, rioting everywhere, and one race or religiion trying to overcome another.

Personally, I don't want to live to see those days....... Our nation was not intended to be that way.

Minny, My guess is that the kids RESPECT you. Something that you have earned by saying what you mean and meaning what you say!

I'm very fortunate in many ways,

The children in the neighborhood respect me cause I backup what I say with actions! And their parents respect me for it also.

Their parents say "how come they will mind you and I have to beg"? I say, I'm the adult, their the child - AND I DON'T BEG - I DEMAND! And believe me the kids know the difference.

If the kids are in my home with their parents and start that whining (8 and 9 year olds) I listen for a minute or two then I step in and say - this is my house - take you whining outside!!! Their parents are amazed that the kids actually shut-up..... and go outside and them sitting there!! Don't get me wrong, I allow the parents time to make them mind, then after a while I step in.

I banned a 10 year old from my house and yard for talking to me like a dog - he called me everything in the book. I told him in front of his parents - You are no longer welcome in my house. Your parents, your brother are welcome anytime - you are not!! And I ordered him out!! I told him in front of his parents "you are not welcome in my house till you apologize to me"! His parents sent him home.

For the next 2 weeks his parents and brother came over for cookouts, supper, etc. - he stayed home each time!!

Then one evening when his parents were over at my house, the phone rang he asked for his mom. She handed the phone to me and said he wants to talk to you.
He asked if he could come over and have supper too and I said "not till you apologize to me face to face"......

A few minutes later a meek and mild 10 year old came in the door, and cried while he apologized to me. He had gotten the MESSAGE..... LOUD AND CLEAR.....

Now he treats me with respect, listens when I tell him something, and stays with me when his parents are away.

I think he missed Molly and Minnie more than anything....my dogs!!! He loves playing with them and watching tv with them. But he also missed cookouts, roasting marshmellows over the firepit, kareoke, camping out in the backyard, etc. Cause everybody was at my house and he got left at home.....

So kids will only DO what an adult will ALLOW THEM TO DO!! All children need guidance and supervision.... a firm hand with lots of love attached to it.

It amazes the neighborhood parents that even the teenagers treat me with respect....... and offer to help me do all kinds of things. Neighborhood kids have raked my yard (got paid of course), decorated my Christmas tree, decorated my yard with nativity scene, etc, helped me landscape, help take in groceries, washed my cars and often just stop by to say hello and talk for a little while and bring me up to date on their love life and school...

Yes I'm blessed and this is a neighborhood I HOPE I don't have to move out of.

KIDS RULE - but parents Guide them!!

                    Just my thoughts today,

In a way that's sad Minny. That YOU have to train the little puke and the parents didn't even punish for that little (bleeps) behavior!

But it sure showed who really is the child, the parent and the neighborhood ruler

Kids need love, attention and displine!!! They thrive on it!!!! Some parents do not spend enough time with their children. Instead they buy gifts to make it up to them. That is very wrong. Children want to respect their parents but it is kind of hard to do that when their very own parent doesn't take care of giving them love, attention and displine!!!!!!!!!!

                          Geneco,
                          Neighborhood Ruler - not really......
My house is the neighborhood gathering place in the evening and on weekends. 28 homes in our subdivision, and everyday people wander down to my front porch to sit a spell and then everybody ends up in the backyard roasting marshmellows and such. They all love my "girls" and say that my home is the "most relaxing place" they have ever been.
We talk about kids, work, relationships, etc. Not gossip, just good healthy conversation.
Often we have weekend cookouts as I have a finished off patio for entertaining (swings, rockers, firepit, waterfalls, etc). They love to sit around and roast marshmellows and listen to the waterfalls.
Many of us "share supper" on the weekends and I often cook for those that have to work late on Sat. night.
Spent many a Sat cooking soup beans and fried cornbread for a neighbor or friend. They all bring food too and we just all get together.
Good food, good friends, kids and dogs! What more could you ask for out of life!

Minny (the Ruler - naw - just neighborhood grandma!!)

I believe all these problems we see started with the marajuania cigarette and birth control pills. I remember the biggest news of the day was the panty raids in the colleges.
