Now you should know by now that the turd will not answer you or anyone else. He has gone to cyberspace to lick his wounds and practice in front of the mirror puffing up his chest and pulling the wings off flies and such, I think I recognize him, it finally hit me who he reminds me of, he bears a close resemblence to a character from Silence of the Lambs, BUT he did care about his dog.........
I'll be watching, you may never know when or how, but I'll be there. I am there now....

It is amazing that this idiot can be so flip and make major assumptions based on a smattering of knowledge. Also, please remember, he started the name calling. Now, I'm a city white boy, but I've been preened for Liberty City for a long time. I can go down to 27th avenue in Miami and not get hassled. I know how urban ministries work, you don't just show up and volunteer. Generally there is some training and some signing. The idiot stepped right into territory where I've been planted for a LOOOONG time, so now he puts up and uses the right language or i know he is full of it.

I even worked with my wife in 1990 in Pequena Vietnam (formerly Little Havana, LH does not exist anymore, a murder in Domino Park turned the shark on that neighborhood and many fine older Cubans died off or left). The only thing left is La Izquina de Tejas which President Reagan visited in the early 80's.

Sorry folks but I know a liar when i see one. If he proves me wrong, so be it. But I want definite proof.

Wow Robivi3 what a testament and what a comeback...My volunteering pales in comparison. I am so impressed with all you have done and are still doing. You certainly practice what you preach. As for the "other posts" I dont put much stock in or give credence to anything he says. It is always the same...critical and insulting from the onesizefitsall self-appointed perfect human being. There are so many kind and helpful people on this forum I dont have the desire or time to devote to such a negative and judgemental person. I guess he gets his kicks surfing the BK forums. Pretty sad when you think about it.

Don't be impressed. Believe me I'm enough of a sinner and most is owed to my wife's urging and we are very vigilant with our boys. I've had a "compressed life", it's been wierd. That wasn't my intention. I did alot of stuff with different Churches in my early years. My oldest is real intellectual but has a really big concern for society at large and individuals, be has his quirks to. Whatever you do, don't be impressed, we've all got our skeletons and my family has passed some tough times. I have a talent for languages and even though you run into problems with other cultures i just like to be able to speak and do things where i live. I've lived the rich to poor to middle class spectrum. My first stepmother was a traveling writer turned public relations person. She was a Theodore White style reporter, riding Donleys, meeting rebels and had her own REALLY wierd life. If you meet some Pastors from Cuba or from Miami what I've volunteered for couldn't touch them, it's just been alot in a short time. As for Hatians, for many years the County had a quiet no hire policy so I helped afew get jobs and did some training. My problem with the policy, and it did exist, was that these people were paying taxes and buying homes and the ones I knew were here legally and had every right to a piece of the pie. Some of them are real decent people and afew I would have no problem with being my neighbors in Tennessee. It's a dichotomy, because my other half (of me) is also fed up with life down here and reverse discrimination that is prevelant now.

Wow, Lightning, you never cease to amaze the heck out of me. If you are such a do-gooder, why don't you try to do some good instead of being nasty to people you don't even know? I can just see you now, ladeling out soup to the poor. Please!!! Give me break. If you did go to a soup kitchen, all you'd do is lecture the poor homeless people about how they screwed up to get where they are!

              I can see it:

As he is putting food on their plates, he is telling them 'if you'd just get off your butt and get a job, you could buy your own food. Make sure its a job that covers all your expenses though, or you'll end up a deadbeat moron.'
