OK I went on a job interview today which I feel went really well!!!
I felt I was able to answer all the questions asked throughly and professionally. However he guy threw me for a loop with one question. In the middle of the interview he asked me if I ever owned a "red car"? I was like huh? (to myself) I responded no, which is true. Then he asked me if I would ever buy a "red car"? I thought for a second, and responded no, which is again true. He looked surprised and said "Oh OK" raised his eyebrows, and went on with the interview. I was caught off guard by that. Was that his intention to "trick" me up? was there a hidden meaning by that question? does wanting a red car mean something? did it fly right over my head?
I heard about the "myth" that red cars get pulled over more or that insurance is higher on red cars, but I don't believe that. Was he trying to see if I was a "wild one"?
....LOL He asked me to stay a couple of hours to watch what the job entails, I did, and they asked me to come back Friday for 4 more hours. I was told it is down to me and one other girl. One positive note is that he called one of my references about an hour after I left. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.....but that silly red car question is still making me think.....
Any ideas?? I tried all different searches on it and found Nada!
