Actually, in the privacy of my own home I say and think exactly what I feel at any given moment. Do I like the fact that I feel that I have to be trained like a cow coming to a bell to be fed when I am out in public and watch my words so some jerk might not get offended? NO. Do I, so I don't get my ass kicked? YES.

Freedom of speech is NOT a bogus argument. I don't care if you don't like what he said. HE SAID IT, and HE HAS A RIGHT TO SAY IT. I don't care if it offends, hurts someones feelings or whatever. Your comments about the old women of this country are probably your actual thoughts. You said them, they are out in the open now, and so be it. You have a right to say it if you think it. Period. The repercussions are there, as with anything, but if we start limiting just "three little itty bitty words," imagine what will be next to be limited....

The execution of someone's right to say what they think and feel is absolutely damning and damaging to our country's future and rights of speech and thought.

I am an advocate of equal treatment for everyone. I am an advocate of free speech, and personal choice.

What I am not an advocate of, is people having their rights limited, or people being silenced or harmed because someone doesn't agree with their opinion.

I am seriously getting a strong dislike about this whole topic, because some people think it's perfectly acceptable to limit and reduce other people's rights and freedoms. That is a scary thing.

Au contraire. As a family we should be able to say what we want without feel of consequence or harm. ON the other hand, everyone is different, and takes things much more differently, and I completely understand that.

The point is not missed on me, and I am not a dumbass, contrary to what you may think. Anger and rage? I don't recall being angry. I am upset with a society that makes me bow to down to whatever idea is popular at the moment, especially when I don't agree with it. I am upset with the idea that I can't voice a thought about a movie that has a subject matter that I completely disagree with. (That King Kong and a woman falling in love is just way too bizaare for me.) And I am upset that someone like yourself doesn't see that we are rapidly losing many of our great freedoms! The whole idea of tiptoeing around the tulips, is what has gotten us to this point that we are at right now. Where people are afraid to talk about how they really feel and to tell the truth all in the name of political correctness. In China and in Middle Eastern countries they are killing people who do not agree with the government, or the majority rule. How much longer until American goes this route?!
