It is very possible they may have been reading these BK forums. There was a discussion somewhere from this forum though that the 2005 BK reforms may need to be reviewed at some point to fine-tune these BK laws in order to try to contain all time high BK filings. I believe this will continue to rise and rise until something is done about the entire economy here. Also, people really have to be educated about their finances and how to avoid unnecessary debt. Me personally, I don't care if these people with lending institutions read these BK forums. I am more peeved at whoever started these stupid "creative" ideas of debt consolidation companies, lenders coming up with predatory loans, payday loans with outrageous fees, that kind of stuff.
