ONCE AGAIN I ASK - since when does "sexual preference" have ANYTHING TO DO with governing our country, bankruptcy, etc.

When I vote for a candidate - I don't ask him who he sleeps with!!!!
When I ask him his political views - he doesn't first tell me he's gay and who his sleep partner is.

If a homosexual can make it to the White House - MORE POWER TO HIM/HER.......
but I'm like you a woman/or a black/ or Aisian candidate will beat him there...................

Politics is one thing - sexual preference is another !!

I find this response offensive and unnecessary. Minny, my post was within the context of what is able to be spoken about in this section. My post is just as important as the thread below regarding the rings around the planet Saturn. I would appreciate some kind of Reprimand and preferably a short ban like I recieved. I think it is only fair. Thanks for moderating this in a fair manner. Minny, I know you will do the right thing.

Queerguy, as much as I hate responding to you since I think you're just here to get reactions out of people with your posts, I feel compelled to try to explain something.

Now I can only speak for myself but I believe a lot of straight guys would understand where I'm coming from. I'm not a gay basher, I think kinky parts of other's sexual lives is their own business and shouldn't be "broadcast". I've had a few aquaintances who I "percieved" as gay because they walked, talked and acted it, but I wasn't in a gay bar and they weren't "flaming homos" as I kind of call it....but I still socialized with them, made small talk, you know.....and mind you these were people I encountered in clubs or through other social functions or friends of friends. And in a few jobs where I dealt with the public, I did encounter gay couples. Still I treated them the same as any other customer.

Me, a straight guy, finds gay guys activities to be rather dusgusting. Why? Its just the way it is. You can't help being the way you are just as much as I can't help having the reaction I have to it. I don't find dogs attractive or any other kind of animal attractive, just like I don't find "dudes" attractive.... and thats the only way I know how to put it. So when someone straight makes a remark that gets to you because they disagree with your sexual lifestyle, it doesn't always mean that they don't accept you as a human for who you are, but find it rather distasteful to think about why your sexual preference is the way it is.

Plus you know the rep you've developed here, so don't act like you're mr. innocent.

You sound llike my mother, no it comes naturally, I am bi-polar, and then I drink on top of that. Had a little episode when I got banned last week.
