Why does my login time out so fast?

Is there something in my settings that I can change?

Like I have been in the middle of replying to a post I don't know how many times and I will get booted out. I'm not sure as to the no activity time limit but I know it has to be less than 5 minutes.

Before typing in your user name & password, check the box that says "remember me". This worked for me!

Yea it worked....heck I left out of the house and went to Home Depot, came back home and was chatting on the phone for about an hour. I just came back here and I'm still logged in.
