I sent it to Tampa over a week ago. That should close my case.
However, it turns out that I received a letter from IRS re: tax year 2004...They're saying that I owe $7K in back taxes. Part of it is on an MBA account that I paid off & they added to my income for that year ($4,500)...boy was that a dumb one. I should have just waited but I was trying to pay off my debts and didn't know I was going to file bk. I forget (selective retention) what the rest is....they're probably correct...but we'll see.
Now, my refund was $2,900...not bad...and I would like to have that applied to what I owe the IRS. I'm pretty sure that could take place. I'm sure the trustee isn't to excited to hear about this. Then, I guess I would have to either go on a payment plan with IRS...and/or just let them take my refund from 2005 up to when ever to pay off my debt...
I haven't experienced this problem (at least it's a new one for me) so I guess I'll just have to see what happens.
