The Sheffields and German castings didn't have the porous castings because of the lack of cleanliness of the Die personell in Brazil, and these are their skilled workers manufacturing and assembling large L10's for overseaes consumption, imagine the trash they foist on their own people. My B/inlws brother-in-law is a Captain in the Brazilian Navy, he laughs at some of the equipment they produce for their own navy! The porous casting causes the block to rupture in the center cylinder but the defect is great for me, I was getting 60.00 an hour for those those third world fiascos, of course you paid for it, THANKS, in your increased taxes and trucking costs. Give me a LAZY good for nothing American made Detroit over the Chinese engine any day, let me pay the extra 2 grand for, it. I'll be ahead for it, but you'll never figure out why. Your the guy who walks into an auto parts and orders Chinese made brake drums because they are 12.00 and those LAZY American made ones are 42.00 and you think you got a bargain and never think you didn't even after your brakes faded months later and you smashed into someone. Your the guy who actually thinks the two are the same and you were smart for saving afew bucks. when I worked in Automotive several decades ago we loved guys like that, they were a great source of income. I doubt you could even fathom the fact that their is a difference in cleanliness, regulation, WORK ETHIC and quality of metals that can cost you your life and you will undoubtedly down the Americans, uplift the foreigner while thinking you are getting a great deal. Tried a Motorola Phone lately, they are crap now. I have gone through several They are no made in Sunrise, Florida, they are made in Malaysia. Most of my neighbors are or were Motorola folk, the few that still work their are their because Motorola is dealing with massive failure rates and retained American techs. to do the job of fixing the poor quality of workmanship. The CHINESE TAKING THE JOBS WERE TRAINED HERE IN SUNRISE, I heard from many neighbors how they demonstrated the fearful conditions under which they work here in the Motorola complex, if they leave their work station they are fired immediately. For break they are required to put their heads on their work bench for the ten minutes, they are not allowed to talk to one another EVER AT ALL during the workday, PERIOD. Do you want those conditions here in America? I'm sure that at your whopping 26 grand you aren't considered of much value and I'll bet you have alot of free time on the job. I think you lie all the way around.

They are doing it here in east Davie also Sinking (not my area). Unfortunately we may be so overrun by third worlders that they may be the Cops who evict us, without any understanding of their oath, their duty to the Country or the US Constitution. Have an accident in Miami, the Cops there are a damned third world joke. MANY SPEAK ALMOST NO ENGLISH! I do not go to Miami anymore, they literally have no idea how the system works except in their little third world "I'm a macho man" existence. Many Miami Cops were super tight shirts to accentuate their muscles and they do that 50's thing with the short sleeve cuffed up. They are absolute jokes to look at. The last ten years have turned me froma helper for the needy to a person who is honestly concerned that this third world mentality could infest the rest of the Country. And make no mistake, I SAID INFEST with no apologies.

I am headed out of here soon, the place i am going, my tolerance level will be somewhat diminished by my experiences here. I am 12% of the population here, if the rest of you don't draw a line you may be also. Damned right, I've gotten cranky in old age! 'cept there we go agian, i can also tell you of many fine immigrants who I would be darned glad to have as neighbors. See, we can't put all our views in one bucket, but white people have rights to voice anger also. I even know of a few Indians out in AZ and OK who are still very angry at the 9th and 10th cavalry for the slaughters they committed, 'course they were black! So, we are all wrapped up in this issue, none of us innocent!

Sinking fast is giving the facts. I live about 60 miles south of her on the east side of Indpls. It is becoming all foreigners. Rob, no $hit, this is starting to look like south Florida. I know you would find this hard to believe. So would I. Georgia (where we moved from) also looks like south Florida, even in the "burbs". Guess we gotta get used to it. I work in the mall, in one of the department stores, while I am attending classes and the customers are teaching me spanish. I just keep saying "gracious"!!! Sinking, have you been to Castleton mall lately? I was there today. Tons of head scarfs. They are all moving in. I am not a bigot, but I sure as h$ll want my America back!!!!

I will be in south Florida in August. It will be interesting to see how it has changed. My mom rented a condo for me on the beach, and we (my kids and I) are going to stay for a week. I am bringing my college texts and just lay on the beach and study. I can't wait!!!!

For us old-timers, the trolls are annoying on a bad day and rather entertaining on a good day. Troll-bashing can be good stress management. I also remember well being a newbie and being so fragile. (Still have fragile days, but they are few and far between) I don't take kindly to newbies being attacked!

As for the immigrants . . . I don't consider myself racist, but have a problem with people who think that just because they exist on the Earth, they are entitled. That includes white, black, Hispanic, teenagers, older adults, etc. An attitude of entitlement/narcissism is one of my pet peeves! I believe in helping anyone, but not at the expense of others' rights.

The problem is that when you come right down to it we are all in a pickle. White folks have no monopoly on great behavior. I think what we all really want is just to have decent folks as neighbors, you meet some rednecks down here, Tennessee, new York and they do disturbing things also. I think that we all shake when status quo changes and we get "wrankled" as well. I have a friend from the Ukraine and he complains about the anger he felt when he saw the large number of Africans driving Mercedes and managing the UN Office there, telling local Ukranians what to do. Europeans created African borders that left differeent tribes as minorities in one and majorities in another, and they slaughter each other, we did the same in our wars, I will admit with some discretion and not the wholesale hacking of women and children except in Germany. People will never come to terms in this present age. Todays news shows that.

The fact is, it is a world of prejiduce, not as Lightning likes to paint it where white people should feel shame and let the Country get bolled over because of the "Hitler white guilt syndrome", my relatives fought the Nazi's, yes, they were prejiduce, just like the black men who fought him also. It is a world of guilt on this issue, not just one race. Once white folks get over the guilt and stop being fearful some things, namely relating to beauracracy in our large cities can be repaired and we can quit draining the taxpayers by putting completely unqualified people in appointed Governement just because of race or color. I see it daily, as long as you are willing to pay for it, it will continue.


BTW. my comment on Lightnings 26k per year was not a slam on anyone here, pardon me for the elitist remark. It was based on a comment he had made awhile back. It was not intended to offend, I know that in some places that will buy you a comfortable living, not in a major city unless you are single and frugal. Take it from someone who makes 120k for Crossville TN and 26k for Sunrise FL you couldn't do much on that here. Making close to hundred we are still tight and not high livers. I am certain that with 12.00 an hour I could do well in Crossville, I am seriously considering it as is my wife whose wage won't change much from here. There is a price on happiness that can't be measured, that is why we are losing Techs to Atlanta weekly for much lower pay, no one has come back and that is VERY easy to do! I ain't goin' to Atlanta, I never want to live in a City again, I can't stand it. The only problem is that Crossville doesn't have, uh... afew things we have like:

and last but first Poppy's Pizza, Poppy's hole in the wall on 44 street with the whole family packed in behind the counter yealling, delivering, baking, garlic wonderizing and Greek Salads that caused wars in ancient days, they will be truly missed, there is no finer Pizza on God's green earth, everything else simply tastes like granol;a bars next to a Poppy's Xtra large thin crispy crust with dripping garlic roles wonderfully delivered and in the most wonderful paper packaging that mortal hands can handle, it has no equal. Like all real Pizza's it is made by Poppy's kids (he died several years ago) who are of Italian descent, Poppy was Italian. There is no place to sit, it is crowded for pickup, you have to dodge doors or wait one hour for delivery, it is the most loved Pizza in Sunrise and is busy night and day. gotta go...

I would kill for Poppy, his sword is mine...
