Our Ch 13 - One Year Done!

We filed Ch 13 one year ago today, and what a year it's been!

Last spring we were so desperate, overwhelmed, and scared but finally determined to do what we had to do to deal with our financial mistakes and find some relief from an impossible and worsening debt situation. Now, thanks to everyone here and our excellent lawyer, we can see light at the end of our long, dark tunnel. We have survived Year One without missing a single trustee payment! yay! (although our case does remain unconfirmed ) May Year 2 be quiet and uneventful (and getting confirmed would be good too! )

It's such a gift to be able to log on here and share worries and concerns with all of you who understand because you are walking a mile in the same bk shoes. My thanks to everyone here for your caring over the last year - hubby and I couldn't have made it without you!

Congrats. We just finished year two last month and have 13 more payments to go!! I agree this board is a godsend, I don't know where I would be without it.

Congratulations Irprn. One year paid is a milestone. We just paid our 25th payment...35 more to go, lol. You are right, this forum has been a godsend. Thanks to you and others, this forum has truly made a difficult time easier to handle. May all of us that are in the 13 Club brass the gold ring (discharge).
