Two Months Left....

My 38th payment comes out of the checking account tomorrow and that will leave me with two more payments and some change. I called my attorney to request a payoff amount, as I might be able to swing the payoff next month... I will be so glad when this is over. I am going to take my 13 payment and start saving for a house. Texas has not been hit very hard with the real estate problems, but it still makes me nervous....

Taking that 13 payment and turning it into a emergency fund or house fund is an excellent idea.....

On October 20th the final payment will draft out of my checking account..... 41 months and $56,420 later I almost done. I will have paid back 38% to unsecureds.

I went and got a cashiers check for $486, the last little dangling amount and mailed it yesterday, so the Oct 20th draft will be the last bit to make my plan base.

I am a little numb honestly, but very greatfull for a fresh start.

Congratulations!! I can't wait to be where you are. I intent to do the same after I complete my plan and put the payment toward a down payment on a house.
