341 Out of the way!!!!!

Monday our 341 went smooth. Our trustee was nice to us! He made a compliment on the paperwork (we filed Pro Se) and asked us some very basic questions. We showed up over an hour early which was painful having to wait in anticipation, but very educational to learn the type of questions he was going to ask. It also helped put our mind (and nerves) at ease.

On Wednesday there was a trustee report of no assets and no distribution on Pacer, so I guess it looks like all we have to deal with now is our vehicle redemption (which the trustee said was between us and GMAC) and our financial management course. Has anyone had any experience with a CASH redemption of a vehicle? I don't think we will qualify for 722 because I am only a few days on a new job. I guess worse case scenario, we will give it back to them, fair price for a fresh start at LIFE!!!! :yahoo:

Glad to here everything very smoothly. Everyone worries about the 341's and usually they are a breeze. I was a nervous reck too but, after we walked out we looked at eachother and said that was nothing..

We did the same thing - walked out of the bankruptcy building - stood on the sidewalk outside and looked at each other and said "that's it?? it's over??" It was a very simple process.

LOL my wife kept asking our lawyer whats next as we were walking to our cars.
