addresses of common creditors

So I have to fill out paperwork for every single debt I owe. My lawyer does not want the payment address but the bankruptcy address..

Is there a list on here of the address's to the common creditors like chase, citi, boa, ect?

as i understand it, the address you want is the most recent address used in correspondence from the creditor to you in the past 90 days. for us, that address has been the "account inquiries" address on our credit card statements. it's usually listed below the payment address.

i noticed on PACER that many of our "popular" creditors (bank of america, discover, etc) were notified electronically of our bankruptcy by the court, so it seems they didn't even use the address we provided. i'd just list the return address or "account inquiries" address. just my two cents, of course. someone else might have better information.

List every mailing address for each creditor that you have or find. Best to notify a creditor multiple times than guess about which single address is the correct one and guess wrong.

The bankruptcy address (and other credit or correspondence addresses) is usually listed on the creditor's website, can be easily obtained by calling their customer service number and asking for it or may be listed on the back of the statement that comes with your montly bill. Do not list the address to which you send payments to a creditor if at all possible. Obtain the "Bankruptcy" or "Correspondence" address, not the "Send Payments To" address.

My lawyer told me they have a database of most common creditor addresses for BK filings. Either way I'll still be compiling and providing addresses and had planned on using the addresses listed on my credit report.
