Use GrubX. It's usually a pellet type treatment you spread with a lawn spreader. Just follow the application directions and you should rid yourself of the problem.

Do a google search for nematodes (I think that is how you spell it.) We had grubs in our flower garden and skunks and racoons were digging up the garden to get the grubs. We ordered the nematodes online and followed the directions. It seemed to work! Somehow, these little guys get into the grubs' systems and do them in.

Here's a good overview of all the options you have available to deal with grubs in your lawn - http://www.landscape-america.com/pro...cts/grubs.html

If you have children or pets playing in the yard, it's preferable to use an organic option (nematodes, BT, etc) rather than an insecticide to save your lawn.

If you live in areas of the country that get winter, then by late fall the grubs have already stopped feeding for the season. It's probably too late to do much this year, but definitely get on it first thing in the spring. Also no reseeding or re-sodding until the grub problem is under control.

try DYLOX. it's a contact kill for right now and yes, overseed your yard now and use a two to three fert program if time permits in your area. in the spring, late april for your area, use MERIT which will give you a seasonal control. you will probably have to go to a garden center for these products vs lowes or home depot.

If your grass is "lifting up like a carpet" you may have a mole problem and not grubs. have you had a lawn service evaluate the area?

as a general rule if you have moles, then you have grubs as moles feed on them. eliminate the food and the moles go to your neighbors yard. molemax is good for moles as a deterent also.
