    voluntary petition question

    Hello
I'm back helping my wife with her chapter 7.
    Our question is ?
Do we need to find list her prior bankruptcy chapter 13
that was dismissed 3 years ago?
    The form states
All prior bankruptcy cases filed with in the last 8 years.

If she filed it within the last 8 years, yes. That's based on just the content of your question. I haven't actually read the question on the form. The fact that it was dismissed doesn't change the fact that it was filed.

Filed Chap 13 April 2010. Discharged May 2015.
$143,000 in debt discharged for $36,500, including attorneys fees. Money well spent!

Yes you must find the case number and include that on the petition! It doesn't matter if it was dismissed or discharged. The form reads "filed" which is instructive.
      Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
Status: (Auto) Discharged and Closed! 5/10
