Can bank take checking $$ for cc?

    You are only required to have a share account. It usually only need $5 in it to stay a member. I have 2 savings accounts and one checking account specifically so I can shut down 1 checking and 1 savings account and maintain my $5 "share account" with my new CU.

    It doesn't matter for Chapter 7 or Chapter 13.

      Bah, such a hassle! I'm thinking I'll try to open up a new account at an unrelated second CU. I just hope I pass the credit rating restrictions.
