    Approved by Capital One auto

My Chp 7 discharge date was 9/13/11.. Auto Loan history is flawless...

On 10/17 I was approved for a new auto loan with my trade in valued @ 3,700. Capital One approved me at 12%, but that was to high so I got a co-signer and it dropped down to 5.34 through Ally Total amount finianced is 21,500.

Also Capital One approved me for a unsecured credit card with a $1000 limit no annual fee.

Bankruptcy isn't the end of the credit world!

No it's not the end of the world but the 12% you were given as a percentage rate for a vehicle shows you just what a credit risk you are with a BK. As time goes on and you reestablish yourself credit-wise, it gets better. Note - it is easy for many to get credit again after a chapter 7 discharge because you are now debt free and cannot file Bk again for 8 years...remember, you will have to deal with that Chapter 7 on your credit reports for 10 years from your date of filing. If you are prudent with your credit and don't go crazy running up a lot of credit inquiries trying to obtain credit quickly, you will be fine....
