injured Cop bk 2006

Hello here's my situation I live in the state of Florida
Injured law enforcement officer 2003
Workers comp since 2004
Bk 7 disccharged (filed) 2006 Feb several accounts including VA short sale of house 2003
Had two unpaid medical bills 2009 recently paid
No other open trade lines on post bankruptcy since 2006
5/2012 just opened 500 dollar secured credit card bank of America

5/2012 bought new car with 18k down and $8k outstanding balance
06/2012 REceived inheritance $90k posited into saving account
Would like to purchase a house again after establishing credit history only 3 months ago how long must I wait to reapply
For a mortgage after almost 7 year bk7 mark? Mark

hi mark! welcome to the forum

have you applied for a mortgage yet? with all the inventory here in florida and with a good downpayment and 7 years out, one would hope you can get even a nice FHA.

i was in b of a here in florida last week and shoot the going rate was 2.755 for 15 year fixed and 3.500 for a 30 year fix. now, i don't know who they are lending to, but i would first try and find a real estate person who may have some in's with some banks or lenders.
