Charged off to Ch 7 - will this help?

I have been working with 2 credit reporting agencies to clean up a couple things on my report that were listed as "charged off". One of those companies is Equifax, who uses another company for different parts of the country. I go through CSC Credit. I went online and filed a dispute and was going to mail all my information but of course was out of print ink so I had to wait. When I tried to log back in - I didn't exist! Who would've thought! Of course you can't call these people. You get a recording. Ugh!

I did get TransUnion to change it though. It went from "charged off" to Chapter 7 bankruptcy. Is this acceptable? Do I need to dispute that as well? This has stopped me from getting even a savings account at a bank so will this help in that area?

Oh, I have wrote letters to Equifax and I plan on sending certified mail. No more wool over my eyes. lol

LOL equifax I mailed them a copy of my BK filing creditor matrix only to get a letter back from them saying they could not verify the proof I sent so are now waitin on the creditor to verify the debt. What I would do is send them copies of everything you have proof of and see how they handle it.

Oh, so they play clueless. lol Along with the letter I am sending a copy of schedule D, E, the part of F that I am disputing and also a copy of the discharge letter that states that no one disputed anything. Hopefully this will get them moving. I have tried to contact the original creditor but they won't call me back.
