It has to be frustrating for someone just out of Chapter 7 to see others getting approved right away. It doesn't always happen and is not the norm as you are finding out. You already have 5 hard inquiries on your credit reports after just recently being discharged. That right there works against you. Those hard inquiries will stay on there for two years. What you need to do is let some time go by now and in several months I suggest trying Washington Mutual - they are BK friendly for those that are discharged. I would not do it now cause you may not get approved.

Flamingo is right....slow down and be patient I spent time cleaning up my credit reports and got an orchard secured right about 6 weeks after discharge. I also got a walmart card. Used both and paid both off in full each month. I continued to throw away the high fee pre-approved offers. Then BAM!! I got a wamu pre-approved 0% APR till October. Clean up those reports. With time will come the offers
