Free Credit Report?

Has anyone tried the free credit reports advertised here? Are they really free?

The only free credit report you can obtain is on annualcreditreport.com. You can get one free each year from each CRA. Otherwise, you will either have to pay separately for them or incur a monthly fee from one of them for one of their services. The only other time you can get a free report is if you are denied credit. The denial statement you will receive will indicate what you need to do to obtain a report for the basis of the denial.
