Anyone can join... you just need to join one of the participating organizations. I think its like a 10 dollar donation.

I did a quick check on DCU's web site. It seems that there are requirements to join. Are you sure anyone can join? Or.. if anyone has this answer?

I've been discharged almost three months now..

My Credit Karma score out of BK7 is 634 and has not changed in 3 months. The Credit Karma VantageScore is 548 also unchanged.

I just signed on to Credit.com and Experian score is 581 and the Vantage score is 597. Fico shows 582.

Interesting numbers? My Credit Karma score is 50 points higher than Credit.com and my Credit.com Vantage is 50 points higher than Credit Karma.

Not sure what this all means? Any comments? Looks bad to me! Will they go up????

Same here - I'm curious how close the scores really are, but not curious enough to spend money on it. I probably will at some point, though. There are free trials out there that let you see your scores, but I have the feeling it's usually a hassle to cancel the trials in time. You probably have to call and they will end up offering you some cheaper deal or something. That scenario reminds me of all the times I had to call a credit card company to activate a new card (including when they would send the new card after the old one expired), and the person on the phone tried to sell me all these different programs (credit monitoring, identity theft protection, etc.) that I wasn't interested in purchasing, and it was an ordeal trying to get off the phone with them. I didn't want to be rude or just hang up on them, since they had so much of my sensitive personal information.

Sadpanda, mine has been going up too since I filed. My 341 was today also. Can't for the life of me figure out why. At the same time it posts a negative, like BK filing which they've posted twice as two separate things, my score goes up. My score has gone up nearly 60 points. I figure I'll wait until a few months after discharge before spending money on Myfico.

I made a Credit Karma account a couple weeks after filing my bankruptcy. I checked my score again today and it went up 75 points since I first looked at the score, although the debt hasn't been discharged yet (I just had my 341). That's the TransRisk score, and the VantageScore went up 33 points. The amounts in the "Other Loans" section went down thousands of dollars too (although I'm not sure that section was accurate in the first place - the amount was close to what I owed in credit cards, so that must be what that referred to). I think the scores first went up once the "public record" (bankruptcy) showed up on the report, although that may have coincided with the first "Other Loans" decrease. The scores keep going up, probably mostly due to those "Other Loans" going down. I know these scores may not be my "real" scores or even close, but it's kind of fun to watch the scores go up anyway!

I am almost three years out and my CreditKarma FAKO is 693. My wife's is 666 which makes no sense really because on the real scores hers is ALWAYS higher.....and usually by a good bit. Just shows you how bad these things are.

With Google Adsense (as Frogger said), you can set some parameters for the type of ads you want or want to block, but some that come through are quite a stretch. I had an art/design website and set my adsense ads accordingly. I still ended up with ads for Viagra.

It's called Google adsense, which helps fund the forum. Management has set the advertising policy as to what is acceptable and what is not.

As long as management has their policy, it is the rule and will be respected.

Actually, that was his second warning, for I gave him a 3 day vacation earlier. I do think that we'll just show him the door......

Mine was 501 during my BK proceedings when I checked around May, 2012. In August, after discharge and some clean-up, it has since went to 642 and sat there.
