    Does time rebuild credit?

Sorry if this is a stupid question. I'm about 18 months post ch 7 bk and almost a year since my house sold at sheriffs sale. My credit score is just below 700. We bought a house on a land contract. We've done nothing to repair our credit except pay everything on time. Still haven't tried to get a credit card yet. We've received very few offers in the mail. Anyway, besides paying everything on time, does your credit score go up over time even though you've done nothing credit wise? I don't even want to have a cc but I'd like to improve my score since I have to refinance this house eventually. Thx

In the case where there is a BK and foreclosure on your credit report, yes time should repair your score.

For somebody who has no negative reporting in the last 7 years, time probably won't help much without adding some positive credit lines.
