    worst credit score ever?

So I pulled my three FICO's! OMG-to put it simply-they suck!!!! We are filing this week and am wondering if they will EVER be decent again. We have not been paying any bills for about 2-3 months, credit limits are all maxed out, collections for medical bills & debt to income ratio way off.

okay these are really embarressing but here goes:

    TransUnion: 492
    Equifax: 468
    Experian: 469

I looked through all the information and there is not much that is wrong. Just a couple accounts that show balances that actually have been paid off.

Also, a quick question: If I'm listed as an "authorized user" would I report this as a joint account on my schedules or would it still be under husbands. thanks all.

Have you filed bk or are you in the process of filing? that was kind of how my scores were prior to my bk but since I've been discharged and rebuilding, my credit scores have increased about a 100 points since. Would like to know more about your situation maybe I can make some suggestions.

If there are errors on your report no matter how small you need to dispute them to either have them corrected or they may even delete them.

news, did you file a 7 or a 13? i'm just wondering because, i'm curious as to how much a credit score can (might) rise during the duration of a 13.

I believe Miss Puff said she is filing this week.

if you are an autorized user then have them remove you as such and DO NOT report this account unless the account holder is also filing. Get your name off fast. You can put it back on afterwards. Good luck

Thanks everyone. It's encouraging to know that I can actually pull my credit scores up. I am filing chapter 7 today actually. I just have to run up to the printers and make some copies of everything. Hopefully I checked, double checked and gazzillion checked everything and it is right.

                    Miss puff,

Do not feel bad. Mine are as bad or worse. I filed 2 months ago, but have not checked since I filed (made me too depressed). Two years ago they averaged 720. Does anyone know if I will ever see 700 again in my lifetime???

                    Thanks!

Just checked my Transunion account, I forgot I had it until the monthly bill came up. My previous credit scores were:

                      TU: 492
                      EQ: 468
                      EX: 469

Thought they were probably some of the worst out there.

                      Today, they are:

                      TU: 577
                      EQ: 529
                      EX: 574

Huh! Go figure. I only had my 341 two weeks ago. I am printing the reports as we speak to see what, if any, cleaning up I will have to do. I am eager to see what they might be after my discharge (fingers crossed).

I guess I am just kind of stumped. I didn't think they would go up. Much less, so fast.

                      Maybe it's a mistake???????

Don't despair! My discharge was 3/1, I started down the repair road officially on April 1 - at that time my average score was 508. As of 10/1, my average is 642. Follow the good advice here, be diligent, and exercise some self-control - you'll see positive results soon!

Well it usually happens to us all before we file. That's when your credit is trashed. You need to focus your attention to your bankruptcy first. Then after your discharge worry about your credit reports and scores.

I'm wondering what your credit score is if you've never had a credit card or a loan? Is it blank or zero? All they would have is your name and address basically with nothing to report!
