In the mail today I got a pre-screened offer for WaMu. It advertised $7,500 0% on purchases AND transfers until 4/1/07, then 14.99%.

I did the online ap and it was approved.
I got the "Congratulations, you have a $1,000 credit limit".

My hooters card is like 25%, I am going to do a balance transfer and close out the hooters card. I'm going to go check out the rewards and use up the few points I have!

Pre-Screened is MUCH different that Pre-approved, so just don't close out the hooters until you get the other. Good luck!

I received 2 cc offers (1 prescreened, 1 pre-approved) I was approved for the pre-screened one, go figure.

You should phone and ask for a limit increase on opening, but be sure to ask if they'll need to do another hard pull on the CRA(s) for that first. Congrats!
