can you file for BK more than once?

I filed for Chapter 7 in 1996 with only $10,000 in cc debt. (stupid looking back but I was young and in college with no income). Now, I am married and recently had a baby and we find ourselves in deep trouble with over $50,000 in unsecured debt. Can I file for BK again?

So, I can but how do I stop from feeling like a loser? I can't believe it happened again!

Get it out of your head that you're a loser. You're NOT!!!

You are not a loser but you need to focus now on why you create a cycle of allowing yourself to get deep in debt. Today's lifestyles (gotta have it right now) and easy credit don't help, but if you don't get a handle on it now and have your spouse work with you, you will be in the same position in another ten years.
