Discharge Federal Stafford Loan from Wells Fargo in Chapter 7?

no have 15k in other debt thats why I want to do BK. I havent had a job in over 4 years. Luckily the payments are only $50 and 2.3% for my student loan

Unless you are disabled and have no hope of every working again, it is very unlikely that you will be able to discharge the student loans.

I hope you aren't considering BK only because of a $2,800 student loan. Have you tried applying for a hardship deferral or income based repayment plan?

Can I Discharge Federal Stafford Loan from Wells Fargo in Chapter 7?

My student loan is only $2.8k and was $5k.

The loan was with Wells Fargo but they sent the loan to ACS Education now and ACS is the one collecting the payments now.

If I file chapter 7 can I have this load discharged?

I am currently unemployed with the only asset as a car with my name along with my mothers name on it as well.
