Escrow overage on Mortgage during chapter 13

So some how my bank figured out I have an escrow overage and they sent a check to the trustee for that amount. What happens to that cash? Does it just get paid into my BK balance? I am on a 100 percent plan. Would be nice if it just went to pay off what I owe on the mortgage.

The Trustee will likely just add it into your current balance on-hand and pay it towards your 100%. Since you are already in a 100% plan, I suppose that you could Motion for Turnover of Property since you're a.) in a 100% plan, and b.) not required to pay "all disposable income" into the plan. I'm not sure if you have an attorney, but I'd run it by the attorney to see what you can do. A 100% plan is much more flexible in this regards.
