Almost Done

I am just about done. The only thing I waiting for is the final decree. They have sent notice that case is closed and I have not paid since 1-31-25. I was on pacer and the last few days, there are about 4 documents posted that certificate of undelivered mail/returned mail. Is this going to slow things down...all these agencies that the addresses were wrong? I am just so ready to be completely over and done.

This board has helped me immensely and I am so glad I was able to read and ask questions to have support and my questions answered!

A Chapter 13 typically closes about 90 days after discharge. You are way past 90 days. Did you file your financial management class certificate and certification form? I would get back with my attorney because this is way to long after discharge.

Or are you saying the case is actually closed. If it closed then it is done. Don't worry about PACER.

The case was completed on 6/11/25 and it says awaiting discharge.

Strange. You wrote that you last paid on 1/31/2025 and it wasn't marked, in PACER until 6/11/2025. Something is going on. You need to reach out to your attorney. If you didn't file with an attorney you should contact the Clerk of the Bankruptcy Court and specifically the Case Manager assigned to your case to see what is going on.
