    Case status: Plan completed

I woke up this morning to my case status change. I was expecting it but still it was amazing to see it officially on NDC. I just have some forms to sign and I'll get my Chapter 13 discharge. I'm not sure how long that will take.

    Here's my timeline:
    Filed 10/2023
    341 11/2023
    100% repayment
    Monthly payment $900
    Confirmed 1/24
    Plan completed 7/21/25

Over 50k in debt but some of my creditors didn't file a claim. One of them was a credit union for 11k (personal loan). I'm grateful they didn't file. Total amount paid back just over $25k.

All in all my time in the plan could have been much worse and longer. Since I was 100% repayment I got to keep all bonuses and two increases I received while in the plan. All of which went towards repayment. I was able to pay it off early due to being 100% repayment.

I feel such a sense of relief. Those first few days in October 2023 I felt so overwhelmed and like a failure. It took time to get over that. It was definitely helpful that some creditors didn't file. I made a budget and stuck to it-mostly. Even now, I have my budget through the rest of the year. It's time to replenish my savings and get on with life.

Congratulations on the quickest Chapter 13 I have ever witnessed! And, a 100% plan at that! Bravo!

Thank you! It was definitely a blessing that some creditors didn't file a claim.
